Ladywell's men's champion, Des Marrett continued his winning streak in the Kent County Unbadged Singles knockout cup on Wednesday 14th June, with a convincing away win against Tom Bartholomew of West Wickham Bowling Club.
In the match, with the winner being the first to 21 points, Des scored consistently and by the 12th end, he had a comfortable 20-6 lead.
At this point, with the match not going his way, the West Wickham player conceded.
This means Des has made it through to the Divisional semi-finals, which will be played on Wednesday 21st June at Blackheath & Greenwich Bowling Club, with the final played at the same venue on 28th June.
